Just wanted to update to let you know that Chapter Twenty-Seven titled, "A Night To Remember" is now posted at FictionPress.com. Took longer than I thought to proof read it all, but I got it done. My novel was definitely well overdue for an update, and I apologize that it's been almost a month since I updated it. Life gets crazy busy when I have college and other things planned. What was your life like growing up? My dad and I didn't get along too well, but my mom treated me well enough. I grew up as an only child in Los Angeles, California. I didn't have a lot of friends growing up, just a few good buddies that lived down the street from me. I spent most of my time playing basketball and going on make believe treasure hunts with my friends. It wasn't until junior high that my dad started getting on my case, hating me for hanging out with the wrong crowd, for getting caught smoking or skipping class, plus my grades weren't so good. Eventually, I decided to prove my dad wrong, show him I wasn't a total screw up and decided to go to med school after I graduated high school.

Before your story began, what were your hopes for the future? To get a record deal and record an album with my band, Dirty Whiskey.

What changed that? I met Amy Gellar and fell in love with her, commiting myself more to being a doctor than a rockstar.

How would you describe your personality? Friendly, smart, funny, outgoing, talented, stubborn, talkative, adventureous and generous.

How would you describe your looks? Attractive and athletic.
What’s your greatest talents? Singing, songwriting and playing guitar.
Who are your closest friends? My bandmates, Ryan (guitar), Max (bass), and Jason (drums), and my best friend and fellow co-worker, Emma.

Who do you hate, and why? Victor Bane, because the asshole's been abusing my girl, both physically and mentally and trying to kill her with his bare hands.

What do you think is going to happen next? I'm going to get my gun and I'm going to protect my girl from that asshole, who will hopefully die or end up in prison for life, maybe both, if I'm lucky.

How would you describe yourself? A multi-talented, outspoken, opinionated bitch with a passion for writing and singing, and obsessed fan girl of Shane West.

How would you describe what you write? I write mostly angsty & drama filled romance novels, and psychological thrillers.

What inspired you to start writing your first book? A fantasy I had about actor Julian McMahon playing a villian, and Christian & Kimber's relationship from Nip/Tuck.

Do you prefer chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla
What authors influence your writing? Dean Koontz, and romance novelists like Beverly Barton.

What one writing tip do you have for new authors? Always make an outline of your story on index cards before you get started, to prevent being a victim of writer's block. Index cards work best, because you can put them in chronological order, and if you change your mind about a certain path your story is taking, you can always switch the order of your scenes by shuffling the cards.

Did you self or traditionally publish, and why did you choose that route? Self publish on FictionPress.com, but I started self publishing on my own website when I used to write fan fiction.

Do you have a blog, and how has it helped with your promotional efforts? It has helped me gain more followers on Twitter who share my passion of writing, and more fans on FictionPress.com. One of the authors who follow me also promotes it from time to time, when I contribute to her blog question of the moment.

What one thing are you OCD about, in general? Twitter, lol.
What is the most creative way you have promoted any of your books? By making a story trailer on YouTube using my Cast of Characters.

What would you do differently if you had to start over? Everything.
Where do you hope to see yourself in the next five years? With at least one published novel.

What are the first three rules you would make if you took over the world? Ban gay marriage in all states, make serving Jury Duty optional to everyone, getting a job would be easier for everyone.

Update On Chapter Twenty-Seven...

Okay, so clearly, I didn't get the chapter up by V-Day like I planned. It pisses me off that I didn't, but considering it turned into such a long chapter, I guess it was worth it. At the moment, I have it finished, but I have to proof read it, so I'm in the process of doing that now.

College has been kicking my ass lately, that's why I've been so busy and I've been going out of town. I will update you when I post the chapter. Thanks for reading and thanks for your support!

Deadline for Chapter Twenty-Seven...

I'm still hard at work trying to get Chapter Twenty-Seven done. My deadline is V-Day. Or "Singles Awareness Day" to me. It's a romantic chapter and I really wanted to cheer all you guys up that are forever alone like me. I'm not so sure if I'll have it done by then, but I'm really going to try and work hard on it tonight and tomorrow. But I still have to proof-read it so who knows how long that might take. :(

It's been a while, but I just wanted to let you know that Chapters Twenty-Three & Chapter Twenty-Four are up already on FictionPress.com and I'm working on "Chapter Twenty-Five" as we speak. Over half-way through with it, set to be titled: "The Importance of Being Andrew." :)

I just want to let you know that my chapter updates might become a little show after the 14th of February because I'm starting college again, and will have a full course load, but only two days out of the week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Update on Chapter Twenty-Two...

Just wanted to update to let you guys know that Chapter Twenty ("How To Lose A Friend In One Day") and Twenty-One ("The Alcohol Effect") are now posted on FictionPress.com, and I just finished Chapter Twenty-Two right now, which I will be proof-reading then posting by the weekend, if not tomorrow. I apologize that it's so short. I really try and make each of my chapters at least 15 pages long, but this time, I could only get up to 13. Short and sweet. That's just the way it goes depending on the scenes.

Now that I'm better and college work has slowed down, I've had more time to write. I just wanted to update you on my writing progress. Writing update

I know I said I would get around to writing this weekend, but this cold I have is kicking my ass. :( I'm going to be writing tonight though. Even if I have to do it late until the morning. Screw my cold.

I'm not dead!

Well, at least not yet. I might feel like death right now, because I have a killer cold, but I'm still alive. I feel so bad that I haven't updated "Against Medical Advice" since Sept 19th and for that, I'm sorry. Real life has gotten in the way of my writing. College in particular. Grrrr! I hate that college is screwing with my writing life. The only thing that makes me happy. So that's why I haven't had time to finish Chapter 19. I'm moving at the speed of a snail. A tiny bit added here, a tiny bit there. It's almost finished, I can say that much. Hopefully you're still reading.

My semester doesn't end until next month, the 16th, so I expect my homework to be shrinking. At least I hope. I should have some time to finish the chapter this weekend. My deadline is Monday so be on the lookout for a new update on FictionPress.com. If I can't, I'll post here and let you know.
