Overdue update on Chapters!

I know I don't update this thing as much as I should, and for that, I'm sorry. Things have been crazy in my life. I got fired from asshole Target earlier this month for no good reason, and I've been doing a lot of writing since then, but forgetting to update you on the chapters as I finish them, but rest assured, if you visit my FictionPress page frequently, and subscribe to the story, you know when they are up by email, or simply by visiting the website.

Chapters 14, 15, 16 and 17 of "Against Medical Advice" are now posted. I am hoping to start work on Chapter Eighteen sometime today, but I just wanted to give you a head's up that the chapters might take a little bit longer to finish than usual over the course of the next few months. Tomorrow, I start college and I've got a full course load with 4 classes, so I won't get as much time to write, but I promise you I will not stop writing. The story will get done. It just might take longer cause homework comes first. Grrr! Bear with me here.

A couple more updates you should know about: I've updated the story page on Tumblr with longer plot summarys, and added a few more songs to the "Against Medical Advice" soundtrack. You can also look forward to the next chapter, set to be entitled: "Investigation Discovery."

Chapter Update!

Just wanted to make a quick update to say that Chapter Twelve, "Forensics For Dummies," and Chapter Thirteen, "All About Andrew" is posted at FictionPress.com and I'm currently working on Chapter Fourteen.

New things !

Just an update to let you know that I've posted Chapter Nine on FictionPress.com, so go check it out if you haven't already. I am currently working on Chapter Ten.

Oh, and I've also made a couple changes, character and blog wise. Character wise, in my own mind's eye, I have re-cast "Courtney Price." I just couldn't see Rachel McAdams as her. I tried to, but it just didn't work for me. So now, "Courtney," Amy's best bud is played by Lyndsy Fonseca ( she plays "Alex" in The CW show Nikita, which airs Thursdays at 9 pm ). She's more of the ass kickin chick I had in mind.

I've also created a future character named, "Dr. Nicholas Grayson D.D.S.," yep, he's a dentist, and is going to be played by hottie Josh Hopkins ( he plays "Grayson" on the ABC series Cougar Town, which airs Wednesdays at 9:30 pm ). While Courney's bio remains the same, I have yet to add a bio for Dr. Grayson, but I will soon. Promise. I still need to add more character bios for "Andrew Barnett" and "Tina Baker," since they have recently popped up in my current novel. Patience people, patience. I'll get there.

If you notice on the sidebar, I've added a Rhapsody feed. Thought a few of you music buffs would like to see what music I listen to, and check out a few new tracks I've discovered for yourself.

Against Medical Advice Soundtrack

Just a quick update on "Against Medical Advice." I've started proof reading Chapter Ten and should be posting it soon on FictionPress.com. I also wanted to let you know that I've created a soundtrack for it. The link can be found on the side bar to your right. It's kind of a long soundtrack...82 tracks total. Hehe! I know it's kinda weird for a novel, being that it's not a movie or TV show and you can't hear music, but it really gives you a feel for the scenes.

I also thought it would be something fun that you could all enjoy while reading along with my story. Just a warning though, it does contain spoilers in the scene descriptions for each song, but if you've already read the first nine chapters, you can check out the first set of songs without spoiling the rest of the story for yourself. I posted them in order of the chapters so it's easier to follow along with.

I hope you enjoy it! If you have Rhapsody, you can find almost all of the songs on there except for a few like "Mirror Lover," "Never Bloom Again," and "Sexy Silk."

Against Medical Advice updates on Twitter...

Hey, just checking in to let those of you that have Twitters know that I stream daily while I write and work on my story. Pissed at FictionPress.com

FictionPress is seriously getting on my last nerve. I want so badly to bring you all more chapters of my stories, and future stories to come, but there's only so much I can take. Now, it won't even let me log-in. I'm sick of all the problems its giving me.

If there's anyone out there that is reading this that reads my story, "AGAINST MEDICAL ADVICE" on FictionPress.com, I've got a back-up plan for you all. In the future, when the site won't to let me do shit, and that includes posting a new chapter, you will be able to find my stories on TUMBLR at this link: http://fictionamy.tumblr.com. Unlike the blog that I keep on here for story updates, I will be using that site as sort of an INDEX for my works of fiction, or if FictionPress continues to go downhill, it will eventually become my own personal website for my fiction.

It's still under construction so it might be a while before it gets fully operational, but it's just a BACK-UP for stupid bitch FictionPress.

IMPORTANT: Chapter Seven update!

Okay, FictionPress is being a whore again and for some reason, Chapter Seven isn't showing up right now. I uploaded it and published it, but it's not showing up that I did that. Hopefully it's just the site being a stupid bitch and it'll start working again.

I'm so sick of the site giving me problems. Regardless of it being a bitch, I'll keep trying to get it to show up. Promise.

CHAPTER SIX POSTED!

Finally found some way to post Chapter Six of "Against Medical Advice" ( A.K.A. "AMA" for short ). I just needed to find some way to get that page divider in there at the top and I couldn't remember the HTML tag for it. I'm glad the stupid site at least keeps to the italicized font so I don't have to find some way to fix THAT too. Thank God.

Anyway, Chapter Six titled: "DOCTOR WARS" is finally up. Little play off of "Bride Wars." You'll see what I mean when you read it. ;)

IMPORTANT: CHAPTER SIX UPDATE...

I just wanted to update those of you from FictionPress.com who check this blog on a regular basis. The piece of shit site is giving me some problems editing my chapter and has been ever since last night. Every time I try and edit my chapter, it says there's an error on the page and it won't bring up the regular editing box. It's stupid and complicated, but if you've tried to edit a chapter before on there, you know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, I have the chapter finished, and will keep trying to post it every now and then until the stupid problem resolves itself. Hopefully it won't be long. Just to let you know, I've already started working on Chapter Seven.

Again, sorry for the delay. Chapter Six entitled: "Doctor Wars" will be up soon. Thanks for sticking by me.

Introducing FictionAmy Radio...

I've decided to combine my FictionAmy Radio blog with this one, and will be adding an A to Z song page on the navigation bar above.

Just incase you haven't already heard, a while back I created a Pandora station specifically designed and tuned for my fictional world. It's called "FictionAmy Radio" and it features potential songs for current and up and coming stories. Songs that inspire me to write, to create characters, and that fit with my characters relationships and their personalities, and others that would work for certain kinds of scenes. Out of boredom, I've taken it upon myself to come up with a fun day-to-day activity. From time to time, I'll be posting a collection of new song additions to my stations and a description of the type of scene I envision them in, so keep checking the A to Z page because I will keep adding songs titles and descriptions. Update on what's coming next...

Hi all!

Sorry I have been neglecting this thing. I just started my Spring semester at a new college and it's been kinda hectic. I only have one class, but the reading assignments are enough to keep me busy. I'm really aiming towards getting my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, and a certficate in Crime Scene Investigation. I've also been working still and keeping myself busy by playing my new Nintendo Wii. I know, it's addicting. Anyway, don't think I haven't found time to write. If you check the new "Stories In the Works"/Updates" section on the sidebar, you'll notice that I'm currently working on two short stories at the moment, which should be up on FictionPress soon. I'll try and make banners for each of them when I get a chance, but keep checking back and I'll let you know for sure when one or both of them are actually posted on the site.

I'll try to update again soon. There's more new fiction coming your way. Don't worry.

And just a side note, and this is IMPORTANT: These up coming works are all going to be "stand alone" stories, meaning they don't relate in any way to what happened before or after "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Bane." They're basically just for your sheer enjoyment, and to help you get to know some of my old and newer characters a little better.

The story is officially completed!

Well, the time has come, readers. My novel is officially complete. I don't know exactly how many of you have been reading it, but I really appreciated how long you stuck by me and how far you read, nevertheless. It means that not ALL of my efforts to write were in vain, so I thank you for that. Completing this novel was a big accomplishment for me, being that it is the first novel I've written with my own characters. Not a fan fiction. I've done some fan fiction novels before, but this really meant a lot for me to complete since my own characters and story world are very close to my heart and have grown on me over the past three years, which took me THAT long to write the whole thing, but now, fourty chapters later, I couldn't be prouder.

This isn't the end for me. In fact, it's only the beginning. I have plans to write a sequel someday in the near future, but don't know when that will be. Until then, I intend on working on some short stories, maybe some random scenes. I have shelves and shelves of writing books just sitting around collecting dust filled with lots of writing exercises, just stuff to spark a random story, so I'm looking to put them to use now. Some might be posted at FictionPress.com, some in my character journals at InsaneJournal.com and others might be in here, so you can check back here too.
